Katie Cawelti (formerly Pringle) is an Anaheim native and serves as Vice President at Curt Pringle & Associates where she has worked for nearly 10 years. Hospitality and outreach have been cornerstones for Mrs. Cawelti’s career. Before joining CP&A, Mrs. Cawelti worked at the Anaheim Marriott for a local music production company managing volunteers and show production, and worked as the HR and Community Outreach Coordinator for SC Fuels in the city of Orange. All this experience has led her to the relationship-focused, servant leader that she is today.
At CP&A, Mrs. Cawelti worked her way up from Office Manager to Account Manager to Director of Operations to Vice President in 9 short years. Throughout her tenure, she has established key personal relationships with all those she encounters from city staff to elected officials throughout California, from community-based organizations to individual key stakeholders. This is why she has been called upon to help lead some of the most complex land use entitlement, outreach, and advocacy challenges in Southern California. Her ability to communicate complex issues to stakeholders and elected officials alike is an attribute that sets her apart from many. She is respected for her ethical deployment of strategies with public agencies and private companies alike. Some of her favorite projects include spearheading education efforts for a city ballot measure, assisting new home and industrial products through the full entitlement and outreach process in various local jurisdictions, and advocating for new and innovative services that her clients offer.
Mrs. Cawelti earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and Minor in Biblical and Theological Studies from BIOLA University in La Mirada, CA where she graduated cum laude in 2011. For those that know Katie, they know she is passionate about serving and giving back. In her spare time, she serves as Advisory Board Member of the Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center in Anaheim as well as on the regional Orange County Board for Salvation Army. In addition, she recently joined the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Anaheim. Previously, Mrs. Cawelti served on Boards and Committees of the following organizations: Orange Chamber of Commerce, the Anaheim MUZEO- Museum and Cultural Center, California Women’s Leadership Association (CWLA), and Orange County Forum. Mrs. Cawelti is a proud graduate of the Marian Bergeson Women In Leadership Series, class of 2017. Additionally, in 2020, Mrs. Cawelti was named one of the 40 Under 40 honorees by the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce.
For fun, Mrs. Cawelti enjoys singing and playing the piano, going to Anaheim Ducks hockey games, trying new tiki bars, traveling, and going to various Disney parks.
