Joel Saldivar brings experience in local government, public administration, and government affairs, with a background supporting municipal operations, elected officials, and community engagement initiatives.
Prior to joining Curt Pringle & Associates (CP&A), Joel served as a Council Aide II for the City of Anaheim, where he supported policy research, constituent services, council correspondence, and the coordination of community meetings and public outreach efforts. Working closely with City departments, elected officials, and community stakeholders, he developed a practical understanding of municipal decision-making and the relationship between local government and the communities they serve.

Joel also served as an Administrative Aide for the City of Santa Ana’s Public Works Agency, supporting vendor compliance, contract administration, records management, and interdepartmental coordination. His responsibilities included tracking contract renewals, conducting research and data analysis, and working with external vendors to support municipal operations.

Joel joined CP&A in January 2026 as an Account Coordinator, where he supports clients through land use and policy research, government relations, stakeholder coordination, and community outreach. His work includes monitoring local legislative and regulatory developments, researching development and entitlement processes, and preparing written materials to support client objectives and engagement with public agencies.

Joel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Political Science, from California State University, Long Beach. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at California State University, Fullerton, with an emphasis in Local Government Management. He previously served as Chair of the Anaheim Youth Commission, where he supported youth-focused initiatives, civic participation, and community engagement.
